Luther’s brand of alternative metal is marked by complex yet groovy rhythms, heavy and emotional guitars, and extreme, soul-crashing, theatrical vocals. Through their music, Luther communicates emotions of isolation, betrayal, rage, and escapism.
The band is powered by lead vocalist and strategist Leo Luther, Enrico Tiberi’s visionary production and bass lines, Stefanos Kaisaris’ vibrant electric guitar, and Javier Scorcia’s progressive drumming. The project also frequently features like-minded collaborators from the alternative metal scene.
Berlin-based Luther debuts with the EP “Next Time Send a Killer” Prod. by Riff Grimez (aka Brian Spencer). Its two tracks lean toward a blend of metalcore, djent, and trap metal. Lyrically, the EP traces the journey of someone unjustifiably attacked, isolated, and stripped of all resources and recognition - yet through pride and resilience, they crawl their way back into the light.
Leo Luther's credentials as a vocalist stem from her tenure as the lead singer (2019–2024) and strategist for the progressive band R3VO, signed to Sony's sublabel InsideOut Music in 2023. During this time, Leo was featured in leading alternative music magazines, including Louder Sound (UK), Metal Hammer (DE), Heavy (AU), Rock Hard (IT), Powerplay (UK), Kaaoszine (FI), and more. She opened the second stage on the final day of the 2023 Euroblast Festival (DE) for progressive music.
